Randy Shanklin - Impartial Data Recovery Scam Victim, Irresponsible Or Malicious Internet Marketing Guru ?
Randy Shanklin - Impartial Data Recovery Scam Victim, Irresponsible Or Malicious Internet Marketing Guru ?
Description
Fake reviews on data recovery professionals dot net - Yes
ECatel Hosting claim Randy Shanklin is not the person who pays for the hosting of the site which claims to be an impartial review site.
So who is ?
Should it also be noted that the only company benefitting from data recovery profesionals dot net
is also an Ex Fields Employee and actively promotes that he is listed on DRP on his website ?.
Recent Posts
Datatrack Labs
Xytron Data Recovery
Kingdom Data Recovery
ABC Data Recovery (in liquidation)
I don't mind the site as such, but it clearly is not impartial if it attacks the director of companies which have helped the victims of the Fields / Rapid Data / Data Phoenix scams, and acts on "inside information from those the administrator believes have nothing to do with the scams"
Is it a coincidence that the fake reviews and posts by employees on their Fields Data Recovery Forum stopped around 27th of April 2011 and the Data Recovery Professionals Forum was registered on the 28th April 2011 ? -Possibly..... but read on...
I don't write this for sympathy - I write this because Randy Shanklin has attacked me and used the liquidataton of 2 of my companies as an excuse to castigate me on his forum
but why ? what is his Agenda ?
.
His attacks on the Director of a group of data recovery companies which helped the victims of the data recovery scams seems strange especially since he claims to be a victim himself.
Was this another Chess move by Fields in their attempt to stop anyone talking about their data recovery scams on
www.data-recovery-blog.co.uk
?
Randy Shanklin claims he was a victim of the Fields Data Recovery Scam, according to his website he managed to get his money and drive back, was he not helped by those consumers and data recovery company directors who stood up and spoke out about the scams ?
And which company actually recovered his precious data ? Why would he not give a simple note of thanks to the company that helped him ? -
Is that Impartiality ?
Yet he decided to setup a forum and review site and asked for my companies and my websites to link to it, I refused as I was too suspicious of his motives especially at a time of being very ill and still under the High Court Injunction brought by a competitor. -
Yet he want to sell the site to the highest bidder !
What research had he put in, because the data recovery professionals website has been very selective about who it lists. And appears to be similar to comparedatarecovery dot co dot uk which an ex Fields staff member alerted the UK data recovery industry to, and despite initially being denied by Fields was later admitted to be done through one of their associates.
and data-recovery- companies dot co dot uk which brought about my forming a company to build the DRC website*
His contacting me came at a time when I had been counting the cost of the wasted time on another court case brought against me by Fields Associates and the complications it had caused. You can read more here
Have You Been Mulcted
..
So as soon as I liquidate my companies the HDDGuru forum has a post which is very similar to the ones below.
You can see the pattern forming again similar to attacks against my operations which have gone back over 5 years which use my name and my companies names in an attempt to capture search terms - another internet marketing guru ?. Why did he not report on other data recovery companies which were liquidated at the same time ?
And why is Randy attacking my remaining companies and where did he get his misinformation from ? Is he hoping I will not be able to respond because of my injuries, illness and being busy restructuring ?
I was and still am very poorly with what has now been diagnosed as Stenosis of the spine, this lead to a spiral of mistakes, wrongly believing that the chronic back and neck pains which also caused severe headaches would go away.
The muscle wastage on my arms and damage to my central nervous system was my own data disaster and the signals in my body were scrambled, the symptoms of partial stroke were evident in February 2011 but the reason was still not diagnosed until September 2011.
On the day of the court case I was finding it difficult to talk which I now know to be due to the prolapsed disc in my neck and nerve damage, despite being dressed down by the Judge for being slow at answering I was still able to defend myself and was awarded extra-ordinary damages.
By summer my body was exhausted, the adreniline burn out fighting the pain had crippled me, and my neck and back muscles were in shock, this had reduced blood flow to my brain, yet I continued to battle to prevent consumers being damaged by the effects such a disaster had on my businesses.
Sadly my staff were not so lucky and they had to cope with the traumatic consequences of such a situation.
This situation followed other attacks which were made when the High Court Injunction was served and I was physically assaulted by Fields Associates representative.
I was also attacked online and being accused of offerring money to damage the servers of UK Digital Solutions Ltd the web design company behind Fields Data Recovery.
However this was another elaborate setup by someone linked to Fields. The site also attacked others but was soon taken down.
In a desperate state I decided to liquidate two of my companies and get help, another terrible mistake made at a time of great pressure, and then the attacks started, not from my companies clients, they were protected, but from competitors and the only ones involved in the attacks are ones who have tried to undermine my businesses.
Was this in response to my complaining about the Dozens of Fake reviews on Data recovery professionals dot net prior to liquidation ?
Or was it because I had identified the fake posts on other forums in my name and my company name and they were developing data recovery professionals dot net as a new way of gathering information by using the Data Recovery Professionals dot net review system to collect the email addresses of some clients ?
Were the competition shocked I had built a high capacity lab without them realising ? And are they scared I have the resources to do it again in another city ?
They once assumed that because one of my companies had offices in a Regus building in Manchester that they assumed it was not equipped or manned like their fake addresses.
In reality it was manned for 3 years and had an very good reputation and an excellent manager.
The posts in my name and my company name have been charecteristic of particular IP addresses some of which coincidently are from Bridgend, and yes I have them logged.
I also had over 30 websites removed which had fake reviews on them.
The thing about being injured and on the ground in a disaster is you find out who your friends are and who is willing to kick you when you are down.
Have a look at datarecoveryprofessionals dot net and then come back here and send your response using the contact form below, good or bad, if you would like me to publish them let me know.

* The DRC Directory was developed initially in response to Fields website of the same name. Only after being wrongly accused of posting on various blogs and forums did I decide to post my own articles and ramblings about what is going on in the UK data recovery market - consumer beware has never been more important.
