Nationwide Data Recovery
Are you looking for a Nationwide Data Recovery Service ?
Lets look at what a Nationwide data recovery service needs to be able to supply if it is actually going to commit the resources and man power to complete successfully up to 10,000 recoveries a year.
abc Data Recovery Ltd is the UK's first and only high capacity data recovery lab to have the capacity to do this, but we generally work at 50% capacity so that we can cope with disaster recovery of RAID servers and international incidents like the earthquake in Italy in early 2009 and the floods of Sheffield in 2007 without affecting normal day to day contracts for IT Professionals, Associated Data Recovery Partners and direct to consumers..
The high security lab, which was conceived , designed and initiated by Andy Butler * - has been continually developed to cope with the increasing demand for cost effective (cheap ) data recovery.
After many years of trying to find like minded technicians I took up the challenges of building a highly successful data recovery lab and have year by year built one of the most successful data recovery operations ever seen in the UK - Q - But is not this a marketing speil ?- A- No it is a matter of fact statement ! unfortunately marketing was never my strong point - but I am learning .
Let me explain
There are some "labs" which claim £97 recoveries.
Others claim £79 recoveries.
Some claim to be National and World leaders, we are not ralking about the established global players here, their track record and abilities are well documented.
We are tsalking about those that do not have the resources needed to achieve such low pricing, but they will show impressive pictures of smart modern offices, pictures of staff sat at desks but never a real facility which can be recognised as a meaningful data recovery lab.
What you will see is impressive claims of clients they have worked for, pictures of their emminent staff and claims of being the leaders.
If they are the leaders why are they involved in so many scams ?
How can you tell if the lab you are dealing with is genuine ?
Well firstly do some background checking, if your data is important to you get advice from people who have experienced the need for data recovery, also check online for those affected by the rogues of the data recovery industry or find someone in your area who can reccommend a trusted data recovery lab and can vouch for their services...
There are several labs in the UK but only ABC Data Recovery Ltd set its sights on achieving the scale of operations needed to offer true expert data recovery services at prices starting from around £100+vat (not just software or data extraction capability which often can result in the drive being further damaged beyond recovery).
If you want to pay £79 buy your own software and run it yourself, if you want to pay £97 well it had better be just a logical problem, reality is most data recovery work taken on by rogue data recovery labs cannot be done for £79 regardless of how low your overheads are.
Companies claiming £97 have been exposed for charging £200 and upwards for no data and often damaging the drive beyond recovery in the process.
Reality is the average invoice for a data recovery lab is around £250 and if a full rebuild and parts are needed expect to pay around £450
There are many one man data recovery companies that you can trust to do a good job, but just like Andy at ABC if you are good your name spreads and before you know it you are swamped with demand.
The general rule when demand is high is to increase prices ! (market forces dictate this)
Q - so why would you offer to do work at unrealistically low prices if you do not have the resources to meet demand that a nationwide data recovery service attracts?
A- You would only do this if you could provide the service for the price or else you would have to accept you will rarely be able to meet such pricing criteria and just rely on consumers gullability to be hooked by a cheap price and then real them in and then escalate the price as much as possible.
How do I know this ?
We hear from consumers every day of the week, often taken in by smooth talking salespeople but lacking the lab they need to actually provide the service. So you pay the money and then nothing unless you are one of the lucky few.
Statistics
Expert high capacity data recovery labs will have around a 90% or better success rate.
All the others will be at best able to recover 30% , however the ones that should be recoverable by an expert are often rendered damaged and beyond recovery by software recoveries or incorrect parts replacement and claimed invasive rebuilds which despite well structured reports and photographs are little more the a smoke screen to justify the fees charged and give the impression the necessary effort, skills and resources have been utilised to rebuild the drive.
Be sure to carefully check the data recover service you trust yuor data with is trustworthy and please remember if its too cheap - make sure you know what you are paying for, often it will be for nothing.
Data Recovery Scam* (I am the writer of this tirade my name if you had not guessed by now is Andy Butler - hence why I called my company abc Data Recovery Ltd
I do not care that this can seem unprofessional, I believe this to be one of the most cost effective ways of exposing how consumers are duped and educating them to check out the online company they are dealing with very carefully.
Disclaimer : - For those of you reading this wondering why I am so blatently exposing these scams again in 2010 :- I was accused of posting on the Data Recovery Blog under various aliases, unfortunately Fields data recovery were wrong, I always put my name to my claims and will remove any text I write which can be shown to be factually inaccurate or lack sufficient proof to meet the scrutiny of a court of law.
I am being taken to court by Fields and will expose their attempts to not only discredit their competitors, but show them that a smaller company they believed they could crush was actually more than a match for them even before we went online with a website.
If only Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis as head of his group of companies had not been so greedy and operated in such a way as to mislead so many consumers, no one may ever have noticed what they were up to..
