 Since this article was first written Fields have been settling out of court with many who have realised they were defrauded, they have also been posting fake data recovery reviews and review websites. Worse they have bullied and attacked their victims to the point of harrassment, lets hope the Judge re-instates the data-recovery-blog.com forum for the victims of Fields Data Recovery.,

I too was awarded an extra-ordinary damages settlement after Fields attempted to use their "in house legal team" to bring a vexatious claim against me. read "have you been mulcted"

Fields solicitor stated in court to the Judge that Fields have :- " a good working relationship with Bridgend Trading Standards going back 5 years"    an extra-ordinary claim to make but actually factual, with TS in Bridgend recording over 570 complaints and intervening on 10 occassions !

However this is just the tip of the iceberg, businesses and international victims make up the majority of the revenues and they have to take out their own civil claims adding more costs to their already difficult situation.

Unfortunately I was also assaulted by a Fields Associates employee  / agent who served papers on me and I sustained back and neck injuries .

Fields claim to be the cheapest, to do the most recoveries and be the most successful, but in reality they have damaged reputable data recovery companies in thier sector domination through unrelenting growth and affected hundreds of consumers in the process.

How can they be, they charge for "forensic services" at considerable cost yet provide corrupt data... don't be fooled by 10 page reports showing how they photograph everything, those seen by genuine data recovery labs have been shown to be misleading, innacurate and in some cases proven to be wrong and the data was recoverable.
 
Always do a background check on any company you trust your data with, make sure you can find trusted sources for reviews and testimonials, carefully check testimonials and reviews, beware that Fields Group data recovery companies actively post fake / shill posts and testimonials and even fake data recovery review websites.
