When looking for a reputable data recovery company for many it is the first time they have ever needed help and many will first go online and search the internet for a solution or a service that can help.

 Since this article was first written Fields have been settling out of court with many who have realised they were defrauded, they have also been posting fake data recovery reviews and review websites. Worse they have bullied and attacked their victims to the point of harrassment, lets hope the Judge re-instates the data-recovery-blog.com forum for the victims of Fields Data Recovery.,

I too was awarded an extra-ordinary damages award after Fields attempted to use their "in house legal team" to bring a vexatious claim against me. read "have you been mulcted"

Fields solicitor stated in court to the Judge that Fields have :- " a good working relationship with Bridgend Trading Standards going back 5 years"    what an extra-ordinary claim to make !

For those of you have been on the receiving end of the Fields Data Recovery scam it may come as no surprise that Fields still cannot recover drives that their expensive forensic reports or leading data recovery experts say are beyond recovery yet other labs recover.  

Most will never know how they were defrauded...

But there is a problem in the data recovery industry, one that has damaged many lives and threatened the reputable businesses viability - The Marketing Guru's

These people are in the own words "experts in e-warfeare, online divorce, industrial tribunals, online wills, online CV" well you get the gist they are expert at everything, even at being expert witnesses !

But beware they are actually expert in the art of selling paper, they are a papermill / document spooling company and they will market for anything they can corner the market on.

There are not many very good, expert data recovery labs in any country, most data recovery services are resellers of other labs, which is fine, but what if one company has 10 "Brands" and all are selling fake reports, charging for parts not used and actively putting up fake reviews on dozens of websites ?

It needs the data recovery industry (for what it is ) to unite and expose the scams and ensure as many consumers are warned as possible that their lives may be in turmoil after losing their data, their Itunes or their music library, but they will be in even more turmoil if they fall victim to data recovery scams.

As to music taste, well I like classical, as well as popular music and  I *do* like Barry Manilow, I'm not ashamed to say this, you already know that I'm old fashioned and now you suspect that I'm actually old too

One of my favourite Manilow songs is "One Voice" and this is what we've been hearing lately, just One Voice, speaking up on behalf of all the people who feel that they have been wronged by a massive on-line marketing scam.


Now these marketeers want to silence that One Voice, by means of a "cease and desist" order Who will speak up for their victims now?


Could they possibly take matters into their own hands? could/would the courts try to silence a large proportion of the Great British Public?

You are not the only ones who have suffered, this scam crosses international boundaries and involves people of many countries


Or will they say "well, it's only money,we'll know better next time"


If they don't make their voices heard the scams will continue, without warnings how will people learn?


It's time /One Voice/ became a mighty chorus, a heavenly choir!


Come on guys, join the band, make a noise, speak up for yourselves, make yourselves heard, read the blog and add your contribution to the forums,


For evil to prosper, it only needs for good men to do nothing


and I still like Barry Manilow.....

Watch out for these fake review sites and fake testimonials,  do you really want your data recovery company to be known as an  associate of Fields  ?????
