Fields Data Recovery and Rapid Data along with Dataphoenix are brands of Fields Associates.

They have been criticised for defrauding hundreds of consumers by selling fake data recovery reports, defrauding consumers and not just in data recovery, Employment Tribunals and Quickie Divorces payment protection insurance claims etc have also been under attack from these e-warfare experts.

Fields Group their parent company also claim to process 2500 Injunctions a year but do they really ?

One High Court Injunction they served resulted in one of their competitors being physically injured.

So what were they hiding ?

Thousands of hard drive repairs a month ?- Unlikely

Thousands of divorces a year - possibly.

Hundreds of scams every year - (570 reported to Bridgend Trading Standards in 5 years)

High Court Injunctions can run into "the high six figures" and one infamous data recovery discontinued its High Court Injunction paying out over £100,000 out of court after failing to bully their victims.

The Fields Group also operate Injunction Direct, part of another document spooling operation Action Direct UK Ltd which has been reported on in the press after being sanctioned by the MoJ, one of their clients was taken for over £2900.

Quickie Divorce , Managed Divorce and Fast Track Divorce are all operated by Fields although they will try to say that Fast Track is totally independant.

Similar to the data recovery scams they take money for nothing on far too many occassions for it to be isolated incidents !

"Honorary Professor" Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis the chairman of the Fields Group stated in an interview with journalist that his company has catered for over 600,000 clients which is an achievement, so why would he try to cover up a few hundreds complaints with a High Court Injunction ?

Just how much do you have to pay to get an Honorary degree or phd these days ?

How many Papermill / documents spooling operations have been sanctioned by the Ministry of Justice for misrepresentation and defrauding clients ?..

How much does a High Court Injunction cost exactly ? £294, £2940, £29400, or possibly £294,000 maybe as much £2,940,000 ?

Well think about it like this, the High Court is not a cheap place to be . The News of the World settled outside court for £1million with one of its high profile mobile phone hacking victims, but then their pockets are deeper and they have accepted they were in the wrong and apologised financially.

But why would there be so much interest in High Court Injunctions and Data Recovery ?

The corporate entity continues to grow on the back of defrauding consumers and Welsh Assembly grants.

Fields Group is a Welsh Assembly / government grant funded corporation which conditioned its staff in to believing they could get away with anything and that they were on the road to "sector domination through unrelenting growth" .

And what better way to prevent anyone complaining than to setup as the UK's largest processor of Injunctions ? (Injunction Direct / Injunction Online claim to process 10% of all Injunctions in the UK) ?

The Fields Group operates various papermill / document spooling services from Will Writing to Payment Protection Insurance Claims and were proven to be lying to consumers by selling fake data recovery reports, often in the process deliberately destroying their clients data and charging for the 10 page document detailing why their data recovery service could not recover any data.

The forum located at www.data-recovery-blog.com and its sister site www.data-recovery-blog.co.uk were very successful in getting compensation, refunds and returns of property for Fields victims.

Fields however were not so happy... They threatened those running the site and wrongly assumed it was in the control of a competitor.

Winter 2008 Fields attempt to dominate Adwords by launching www.comparedatarecovery.co.uk and use misinformation to degrade the ranking of their closest competition ABC Data Recovery

Winter 2008 ABC Data Recovery detects Adwords click fraud IP addresses and launches www.datarecoverycompainies.co.uk in respone to Fields website www.data-recovery-companies.co.uk

Jan 2009 Fields Associates ex data recovery technician contacts all UK data recovery providers listed on www.comparedatarecovery.co.uk and reveals how UK DR market is targetted by Fields. Subsequent investigation shows Just Compare Ltd formed by Fields and Compare IT Ltd  setup by David Woolls (Cambrian FInance) also known to be linked to Fields.

Feb 2009 Fields deny any association with Compare IT Ltd - (18 MONTHS LATER THEY ADMIT THEY WERE) Fields Chairman Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis threatens to put competitors who complain out of business and their homes.

Summer 2009 More victims of Fields fake data recovery reports and deliberate damage emerge. Rowland Ferraro sends drive to Rapid Data is charged for an attempted recovery, drive is sent back damaged and missing parts.Fields wrongly assume the report into the damage was produced by ABC Data Recovery.

Autumn 2009 Majority of data recovery companies join IPDRA

Christmas 2009 The original data recovery blog goes online.

Jan 2010 The Director of ABC Data Recovery gets a threating letter From Fields Associates Ltd claiming damages of £250,000 plus £25,000 per day the blog stays online. plus further damages for long term health damages to "Dr" Richard Cable- Mr Butler suggest Mediation to find a resolution.

May 2010 The Director of ABC Data Recovery Ltd sued for damages by Fields Associates Ltd

August 2010 Fields Group Ltd group accounts show a £180,000 grant from the Welsh Assembly to be paid back over 20 years and a £250,000 loan to Fields South East Asia Ltd (not listed in the UK)

September 2010 Fields cancel mediation talks whilst Mr Butler is on route with legal advisor to the meeting. Mr Butler publishes a numbe rof articles on www.datarecoverycompanies.co.uk after finding fake forum posts and comments on a number of data recovery websites. Bridgened IP addresses identified as posting in the name of Andy Butler and abc Data Recovery. The articles help inform more victims of the Fields data recovery scam and identifies Fields

October 2010 An ex parte injunction is taken out and served to several individuals believed to be posting on the forum www.data-recovery-blog.com  One recipient of the papers who has never posted on the forum is hospitalised as a result.

November 2010 Fields retaliate with dozens of websites, www.dick-heads.com was a malitious attack against those it had served the Injunction on and there were over 30 other data recovery review sites, forums and blogs in favour of Fields Data Recovery uploaded, 30 have since been removed, others are being monitored for fake reviews.

December 2010 Mark Lewis of THLaw (who also represents News of the World mobile phone hacking scam victims) takes on defence of Rowland Ferraro other information emerges which cannot be reported on until the High Court Injunction is lifted.

December 2010 Dozens of fake positive reviews for Fields and Rapid Data Recovery appear on FreeIndex, Review Center, Xomreviews, The Independant, TouchLocal and TrustPilot most are removed after being reported to the ASA.

January 2011 Fields launch various forums and blogs in an attempt to fill the search engines with some positive PR.

Feb 2011 The director ABC Data Recovery Ltd successfully defends the claim brought against him and recieves a payment in damages greater than that claimed when Fields Associates Ltd are mulcted in costs.        Fields claimed in court to have "a good working relationship with Bridgend Trading Standards going back 5 years" 571 Complaints and 10 interventions by Bridgend Trading Standards recorded between 2007 and 2010.

March 2011 Fields IP Address caught on several sites and caught in PPC CLICKS in an attempt to waste their competitors advertising budgets --

June 2011 The DRC Directory comes under DDOS attack

Fields Group Ltd and its managing director Mr Jamie Hamilton Wallis are paying out substantial damages - but who really pays for this ?
