Description
Data migration requirement could arise for a number of different reasons but principally data migration or  data conversion is necessary when companies decide to change the way in which they use their applications, or if they change applications altogether.

If one application, or system for any lenght of time there will be potentially huge amounts of legacy data including employees reports, proposals and sales information if converting a CRM system.

Files are in one format and then need to be converted to another once a company decides to change applications, the need to migrate, or convert the information becomes necessary. The data or information being converted is often times very large amounts, and can be quite time consuming to fully convert.  Once the process is  complete, the customer can go about business as usual with little or no down time.
