Clock Data Recovery
Clock Data Recovery
Description
Time Clock data recovery lost due to hard disk drive failure.
Many companies keep employee time cards for tracking the attendance and hours that an employee is on site or attending the work place.
There are many reasons for a company to keep clock data and not just the obvious boss wanting to get to make sure he is not paying for more hours than necessary.
The employee may rely on the time monitoring software to make sure any overtime worked is paid on time.
But time clock data recovery can be crucial to insurance claims and legal cases after a fire or flood.
During the Sheffield UK floods during the summer of 2007 hundreds of industrial buildings, offices and shops on the edge of the city found themselves deluged in up to 10ft of water when the river burst its banks.
Numerous businesses were affected but it was only after the flood had dissipated that the calls for data recovery and disaster recovery of dozens of pc's, laptops and servers began to flood in.
Many had been submerged in the muddy water and as the insurance assesors decended in their droves one of the crucial pieces of data which was being requested was the time keeping data of thousands of employees many who could not go back to work until the clean up had been completed.
Wherever a personal injury claim was submitted the proof of attendance on the day was needed and for some companies this proved difficult because their time clocks stored this important data on a hard disk either in a server, local pc or network attached drive.
Fortunately abc Data Recovery Ltd were on hand and able to help.
Make sure your company backs up its time clock data not only can it help with an insurance claim but it can also help with health and safety in times of fire and flood.
