Clean Room Certification Debate - Not Really

Clean Room Certification Debate - Not Really
Description
The attempts by a few individual technicians to misinform consumers by claiming various accreditations to bolster their professional claims has in itself caused some contraversy.

One data recovery company has bee exposed for misrepresentation and defrauding consumers.

What is clear those labs with clean rooms should have their clean rooms tested.

By upgrading out of date class 100 clean room facilities and adopting modern annual ISO certification procedures the UK data recovery industry will be able to reassure consumers their hard disk drive will not be contaminated during the repair or rebuild attempt.

Buying, installing and certifying a clean room is just part the resources needed to perform  a successful hard disk drive rebuild. It requires data recovery technicians using the facility to be fully trained and experienced in all aspects of HSA and Platter swap procedures to ensure a maximum chance of a recovery. (there are other technical improvements of course)

Abc Data Recovery Ltd have been campaigning for all DR companies to show their annual clean room certification after a number of DR companies were making claims of class 100 or better, yet it was clear that they were contaminating drives.

abc Data Recovery Ltd posts it's re-certified
clean room certifcate online annually and has always achieved BS14644-1 class3 shortened to IS0-3 ( equivelent to the previous fed209e class1) .

By improving clean room procedures success rates go up and throughput of completed hard disk rebuilds is much improved, this helps towards bringing average invoice prices down for the consumer.

ABC Data Recovery completed 5000 recoveries in the last year see article about upgrade of their high capacity lab in 2011
