Bad Sectors

Bad Sectors
Description
Bad Sectors:-

Hard drives and solid state memory store their data in blocks known as sectors.

If a sector is unable to be read it can affect the integrity of the file using that sector rendering it corrupt, inaccessible or faulty.

Whilst there are disk utilities which can recover bad sectors, if they as a result of physical damage to the recording media of a hard drive or failure of a transistor in solid state memory they can cause more corruption.

If your drive is sufferring from bad sectors call Andy and the team at R3 Data Recovery on 0800 999 3282
